The development stage started in January 2022, but we also researched for about a year to finalize our asset pipeline & workflow to deliver the game as fast and great as we can.
The game is set for an early access release in 2024. The prologue is available to play from March 1st on Steam.
The game will release for Windows PC, however, the game engine supports consoles as well, so there is a possibility to expand on other platforms.
The development team currently consists of 14 people, who have worked in the game industry before. Some members of the team have also worked on the well known Sims 4 Multiplayer Mod. Vivaland also collaborates with HypeTrain Digital as their publisher.
There are no current playtest applications, however, you can wishlist the prologue on Steam to try it out for free from March 1st!
No, but you can wishlist the game on Steam!
Modding support is not the main priority right now, but we will be working on it after early access!
Since this is an inspired co-op game, you will need an internet connection to play with others, however, if you prefer to play by yourself you can also do that in single-player without the need of an internet connection.
You will be able to invite up to 7 friends (being a total of 8 players) to your game.
No, you will be playing in a small town and neighborhood, by yourself or with friends.
In the Dream House prologue, each player has their lot, but you can visit your friends' households and build together. For the Early Access, people will be able to be part of the same household.
Yes, you’ll be able to continue playing the same save game in your own house.
No. You can only visit them, and their Vivas, while they are online.
It's planned to be the already established point & click control, with the possibility to expand into free roam with keyboard movement.
The team aims for an E rated (everyone) release, avoiding such content. However, to make the game more realistic and suitable for adult players, we are considering a more mature approach in the game.
There will only be adult Vivas upon the early access release, with additional life stages later on.
Not for the initial early access release, will be considered later on.
At the current’s game stage there are only house (aka residential) lots, but we’re planning to have a wide variety of places to visit.
Not at this current stage of the game, but it will be included for the early access release. This means you'll never be alone, even if you're playing in single-player mode.
There is one town, with 8 residential lots on it. The town is NOT an open world.
It’s not something the team has planned at the moment, but might be added later on.
